Miniature Commission Pricing
Vehicle and Large Creature models
My vehicle and creature pricing starts by size. As you request certain embellishments the price will go up as appropriate to the task.
For the base price in each category the model will be painted in "new" condition (meaning no battle damage or weathering). When dealing with models of this size I will typically use an airbrush to pre shade and apply the primary colors and highlights. I then go back with traditional brushes when necessary for small details or embellishments. For pricing information on Super Heavy or Gargantuan models please contact me directly. I define a small vehicle / creature as one that would fit completely within a 5" cubic area. Occassionally if a model is especially detailed, or fits into the described area only because its crouching I will consider it a medium model. I will always tell you BEFORE you decide to commission me if this is the case with your model.
A good guide line for a "small" vehicle/creature is the Warhammer: 40,000 Rhino Chassis.
I define a medium vehicle/creature as one that would typically fit completely withinin an 8" cubic area.
A good guide line for a "medium Vehicle" Is the Warhammer: 40,000 Land Raider Chassis.
COMMON EMBELLISHMENTS:
For common embellishments I typically charge an additional $20.00 on top of the listed price for the size of the model. Common embellishments include simple weathering, iconography as seen in the example image (Also on the Storm Raven), and for small "extra bits" such as the dead guardsman hanging from the wave serpent.
For more elaborate jobs, involving elaborate conversion, free hand, or actual design work on my part ( For instance creating a unique unit insignia), please ask for details.
I define a large vehicle/creature as any with a height or "bulk" of 8" or greater in any dimension.
A Warhammer: 40,000 Imperial Knight or a WARMACHINE Colossal are good guide lines for a "Large" vehicle/creature.
